Trained as a playwright, Nicklin moved into interactive practices after completing a PhD in the field, has run a mid-sized indie studio, and has contributed significantly to, or directed, five shipped titles, including Saltsea Chronicles in 2023 (which she directed), and Mutazione in 2019 (which she wrote and narrative designed).
